poems tenderly weave the sky
clouds emerge from threads of dusk
and dawn
my breath
swoons through echoes of day
and night
my heart
released from its golden cage
unravels the fabric of time
and distance
with these rushing roaring wings
softly
gently
slowly
love…
swiftly
ferociously
wildly
love…
.
river holds stillness
between its banks
within the current
under the trees
leaning…
in your reflection
rippling…
your heart holds stillness
inside your heartbeat
inside your sorrow
inside your longing
inside
your beautiful love
quiet in sound
quiet in silence
clouds meander and dissolve
what comes before and what comes after
dissolves
liquid are the days and nights
of our sorrow
and joy
adrift
in sky reflections
.
dusk walks with us
our long
long
long
legs
gliding shadows along the roadside
something hidden blooms
hungry for night
and the hovering kiss
she calls for their wings
by her scent
unseen
waves
crashing
distant thunder
our eyes adjust to darkness
slowly
blue in blue in blue in blue
inside the tall tall tree embrace
dissolves…
when did night begin?
where is the sky?
when did this momentary start?
where is its end?
where is yesterdays rain,
and our long legged shadows?
and what of the horses
behind their soft
and wild eyes
their quivering tender lips
selecting every blade of grass
wind tangling manes
unharnessed
wandering
gently
in the open field
hemmed by sharp wire
do they feel the rippling moon?
