cauldron of stars

poems drink my heart

spill my blood

fill and empty the tides

blooming and receding suns

burn inside me

worlds spin into me

and out again onto the pages

grief despair and endless love are not separate

nor are they joined

all is

and is not

in love

ignites my dreams

fire of heaven kisses

gently

these lips

this tongue

that knows no words outside of love

…arch of night slides through day

vault of sky spins me

intoxicating rhythms pulse my heart

my breath

this moon

hovering

unseen

at noon

…the longing that forms my lines

cannot prevent their erasure

all breathes and sings

still

on the other side of the horizon

where we meet

and fall through sky

we are this endless

beginning-less

kiss

…my lips are formed by yours

my eyes are not

until seen by yours

…how I long for you to be

so I can find my world

…first crow

last crow

and the day in between
